- The minimal maestro's first release of 2020 landed this week.
Isolée just put out a new 12-inch.
Candy Apple Red is the German artist's first release of 2020, and his second overall for Maeve, the label run by Mano Le Tough, Baikal and The Drifter. The press release says that the four-track EP runs the gamut from Isolée's usual microhouse to deep house and disco.
Isolée's output these days tends to come in fits and spurts—he's only released one other record in the past three years, the Ginster EP on Mule Musiq. Before that, he had a string of 12-inches for Pampa, Tamed Musiq and Styrax.
