Hardware Corporation have announced the international guest DJs who will be jetting in for their New Years Eve party, Belfast, and New Years Day event, Sunshine People.
The highlight of the annual Belfast party on 31 December 2005 will no doubt be Richie Hawtin (Canada) who will be playing both a DJ set and a Plastikman live set. Aussie DJs on the main stage will be Nik Fish (Syd) and Richie Rich. The remaining 40 supporting DJs and live acts have yet to be announced, but keep checking RA for updates.
Belfast has always had a retro flavour and relaxed fun vibe to it, and this year's party will be no different. There will also be new sound, lasers and lighting with the venue undergoing some renovations between now and NYE. Full event details including earlybird ticket information is available here.
Sunshine People provides an excellent alternative to Melbourne New Year's Day party, Summadayze, catering to those who enjoy techno, hard dance, house and the odd progressive house tune in the swish surrounds of Alumbra on a boat!
A much larger multi-arena party than Belfast, Hardware have brought in some big names to headline each of the different rooms. Come January 1st 2006, you'll be able to catch Adam Beyer (Sweden), Jesper Dahlback (Sweden), Ivan Smagghe (France), Zombie Nation live (Germany), Cosmic Gate (Germany), A*S*Y*S (Germany), Andy Farley (UK) and Swirl People (Belgium). Expect further announcements on the local supporting DJs in the lead up to the event.
Earlybird tickets for both Belfast and Sunshine People are almost sold out for both shows. If you want to get these tickets you must purchase them by next week at Ticketek or www.hardwarecorp.com.au. So round up your crew and hit QBH after the fireworks, or Sunshine People for a fun day of tunes and sunshine!
