The first round of names for the Memorial Day weekend event includes K-Hand, Minimal Violence and Patricia.
The third edition of MUTEK.SF has been postponed due to California's extended stay-at-home order, so the festival has decided to present a virtual festival with a donation-based ticketing system. Proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to artists, and the festival will be presented in a digital space developed by the team behind Currents.FM. The digital venue will attempt to create a "sense of gathering and group friendship by creating and sharing experiences in private rooms."
The first round of acts pairs live sets and DJs with visual artists in the classic MUTEK fashion. It includes the likes of K-HAND, Jasmine Infiniti, Pelada, RP Boo, Patricia, and Auscultation (Golden Donna), as well as back-to-back sets from Jensen Interceptor & Kris Baha and Solar & Mozhgan.
NEXUS Experience will run over two nights from 4 PM to Midnight, PDT.
