  • Beloved Berlin spot Club der Visionaere has launched a crowdfund campaign to help save the venue. The team, which runs CDV and its nearby sister venue, Hoppetosse, is asking for €50,000 to help "survive the continuing coronavirus setbacks." As well as the pandemic, which forced both clubs to close in March, CDV was hit by a fire in June 2019 that required significant structural repairs. "We have managed to make it through the last 20 years, but have exhausted our resources in the last year since the fire, trying to stay afloat," reads the campaign text. "This latest crisis may now be too much and we may not be able to overcome it alone." In exchange for donations, the team is offering various gifts and bits of memorabilia, including T-shirts, guestlist packages and the chance to host your own private party at Hoppetosse. Donate here. CDV is currently open for drinks and pizza, though Hoppetosse remains shut.
