  • Shinichi Atobe will return to Demdike Stare's DDS label with a new album called Yes. The LP, out July 10th, arrives two years on from 2018's RA-recommended Heat. According to Boomkat, the album "arrived by post from Japan on an unmarked CDR"—the same way Atobe delivered his previous records for DDS. It'll be available digitally and on double-vinyl. Before Heat, DDS released three LPs from Atobe: 2014's Butterfly Effect, 2016's World and 2017's From The Heart, It's A Start, A Work Of Art. In 2015, the label also reissued Atobe's sought-after 2001 Ship-Scope EP, originally released on Chain Reaction. Listen to album track "Lake 3."
