  • SW. has signed to Avenue 66 for a new album, TRUElipS. Stefan Wust's first record for the Berlin leftfield label comes in the midst of a prolific period—he's recently put out an EP, BCK TO FTR as well as a mini-LP, Night—but it's his first full album since 2016's RA-recommended Untitled. The 12-track full-length is a mix of downtempo, ambient and melodic techno tracks on which SW. combines house, drum & bass and "intelligent techno" influences, with sine waves and major-chord pads that hearken to the '90s rave era. TRUElipS follows Avenue 66 LPs from Joey Anderson and John Frusciante's Trickfinger project. Listen to SW.'s "DREAMdanceVANs."
