WaqWaq Kingdom's next EP, Dokkoisho, will be released via Phantom Limb on September 18th.
As a duo, Kiki Hitomi and Shigeru Ishihara AKA DJ Scotch Egg have now released two albums, including 2019's Essaka Hoisa, which RA's Oli Warwick described as "a cartoon world of glossy melodies, raucous drums and soda-pop FX."
Dokkoisho, a word which the label says is "an informal interjection roughly equivalent to the heavy sigh in sitting down after a long day of work," sees the pair entering more uptempo territory on what's described as "pretty much a party record."
