- "There's Enough" comes ahead of an album next year.
Music fanzine Love Injection is starting a new label.
Love Injection Records is a newly-minted imprint from the New York-based zine, which already runs a label called Most Excellent Unltd. The first release is a single from Conclave, who will put out a full album on Love Injection Records next February.
Conclave is a duo from Brooklyn, made up of Cesar Toribio and Scott Scribner, who met while they were students at Berklee. Their work is influenced by a shared interest in Afro-Latin music as well as Toribio's upbringing in church, where he played drums. The duo use live bass, drums, guitar, keyboards an an MPC, with most of their songs rooted in improvisation.
