- Vault Sessions 1, out on Alleviated this month, includes four unreleased Mr. Fingers cuts.
Larry Heard, AKA Mr. Fingers, will release Vault Sessions 1 on his own Alleviated Records imprint later this month
It's the first in a planned succession of releases that will see Heard opening up his archives to put out unreleased recordings or tracks that never came out on his own imprint. The four-track 12-inch kicks off with "Chains," an outtake from the legendary Fingers Inc. LP Another Side.
"To this day, we are not quite sure why this selection was not included on the project but are pleased to finally share it," says the label about "Chains," which features Ron Wilson's freestyle vocals.
Alleviated recently reissued Larry Heard's 1994 album, Sceneries Not Songs, Volume, 1.
