- Danny Howells launches his Choice Classic album with the usual mid-week, Wednesday nighter at The End's upstairs bar.
When RA announced in November that Danny Howells would be diving into the dust and cobwebs of his record collection to provide his Choice Classics release for Soho-based Azuli Records there was obvious excitement about the LP. However, for London based fans of the series there is double excitement as the star in question will be showcasing his sounds at the launch party on January 25th. Following on from a series of fired up Azuli parties at The End in 2005 including the Choice launch with John Digweed, the label will take over the venue for a Wednesday night special.
Danny’s new compilation, much like his wardrobe, is full of variation and colour with a number of his all time favourite records from a diverse range of artists including Carly Simon – ‘Why’, Iron Butterfly – ‘In a Gadda Da Vida’ and Orbital – ‘Impact’.

On the night, Danny will be launching his compilation with a special 6-hour set in a rare and intimate setting. A real treat for fans of the series and Danny. We’ll certainly be there. The album will be released on January 30th.
