  • After the success of their New Years Day party, AgentMad and the Esplanade Hotel are ready to do it all over again. 33&1/3 is on Good Friday 14 April, kicking off at 2pm and running through to 3am. The lineup features loads of internationals including London Elektricity's Tony Coleman and MC Wrec (Hospital Records), B.L.I.M., Space DJZ's Jamie Bismire and Ben Long, Treva Whateva (Ninja Tune), Askillz, Zinc (Bingo Beats) and MC Verse, and Uberzone live. Tony Coleman, the man they call London Elektricity has been investing a lot of labour and love into his live band of the same name. His latest album is “Power Ballads” from which the single ‘The Strangest Secret’ is receiving a good ol’ bash on Triple J right now. Zinc rounds out the d'n'b on the bill with his razor sharp mixing and perfect tune selection. BLIM is way overdue for a return to Australia, where his breakbeat outlook is very welcomed, as is his friendly presence. The former ‘lost boy’ has found his voice in the form of rapping and singing on some of his new productions for his forthcoming album “Boy Meets Monkey”. Uberzone's Q will bring live breakbeat to the event and show why he is one of the leading American producers of break beat music. The Space DJZ will be closing the event with an eclectic mix of hip hop, electro, and unnamed genres. Four decks, two DJ’s and a bag of beats. Giddy’up. Locals always play a large part at most 33&1/3 events and this one has a bumper lineup of breakbeat, hip hop, drum'n'bass and quirky sounds with Lynt, Sneaker Trio, Jesse I & Ras Crucial, Lil Misbreaks, Brewster B, Broken Beat Assult, K-Oscillate live, Lex, Rux, Beatski, Dust, Sean, JPS, Fenton, Ransom, Ennio Styles, Paz, Brett Volker, Boogs, Alias, O.G., Gsan, Skikung & Dreaded, Agent 86, Blueprint live, Spacey Space, Guyno and Dr Sponk, Cecille, Toupee, Ben Stacey, Ides, Brainstorm, Obliveus and MC Direkt and Mugen. Tickets are on sale now. Hit the link below to find out how to rock your Easter to beats broken and bass heavy.
