  • Deep Haven Music have announced the release of their WMC 06 soulful mover and shaker Big Brooklyn Red’s ‘He Moves’. The track is written by Brooklyn, produced by Scott Wozniak and remixed by DJ Man-X and Scott Wozniak. Thomas clearly feeling like the record has found the right home releasing the popular Soul thumper as the first project from the new label:
“He represents everything that I wanted Deep Haven to be, He is a pure Soul artist”
As a member of the CityKids NYC, Brooklyn’s career was launched in 1990, performing an original composition with Herbie Hancock and Branford Marsalis at the St. James Theatre - a performance later re-created with the late Grover Washington, Jr., for television. His live band performances are improvisations of funky, jazzy neo soul flavored, reminiscent of the 60’s soul movement. A smooth, sexy, and funky Soulful House single releases via Deep Haven Music Store now available for download. Beatport, Traxsource and vinyl shops will release on April 24th. You can also find out more about Big Brooklyn Red on his My Space artist site.
