  • Ekko Festival has finalised the lineup for its 19th edition, taking place from November 2nd through 6th in Bergen, Norway. This year's lineup includes Autechre, Caterina Barbieri, DMX Krew, WaqWaq Kingdom, Sedef Adasï, Slikback, AJA, Hiro Kone, Huerco S and DJ Scotch Egg. There are also live performances from Vanligt Folk and Bendik Giske, commissioned works from Bjørn Torske and DJ Nigga Fox, and satellite workshops taking place across the five-day event. The programme for 2022 is focused on electro, acid, ambient, deconstructed club music and AI-infused electronic music. Ekko is one of Scandinavia's foremost experimental electronic festivals, welcoming over 700 artists to Bergen since launching in 2003. The festival kickstarts a busy month of electronic music in the city. The following week, the Bergen Centre of Electronic Arts will host a symposium exploring art, technology, nature and power, with appearances from Rian Treanor, Phelimuncasi and Zavoloka. Here's the Ekko lineup in full.
