Stockport's new audiophile bar, Ōdiobā

Ōdiobā will be run by the team behind Manchester audiophile bar NAM, which closed in January. NAM's hand-built sound system will be relocated to the new premises. The new bar will sit in the Underbank area, which is already home to record shops such as SK1 Records and All Night Flight.

Cuba Galway reopens after 13 years

Frankie Knuckles' House Masters compilation gets first vinyl release

Defected is pressing Frankie Knuckles' celebrated House Masters compilation on vinyl for the first time. Arriving in two parts in May, the 2015 release is no longer available digitally or on CD.

Dimensions Festival announces 2024 boat parties

As part of the Croatian festival's summer programming, 18 voyages will set sail across three of the festival's five days: August 30th, August 31st and September 2nd. Resident Advisor will host a party on the Friday with Vlada, DJ Fart in the Club and Reptant.

RIP Darren Ellis

Darren Ellis, the jungle and drum & bass producer known by the aliases Undercover Agent and Splash, died in his sleep on March 20th. He was known for founding the influential label Juice Records. A GoFundMe has been set up to assist with funeral costs.
