The Canadian artist has retired his Deadbeat alias and reverted to making music exclusively under his own name. The first release of this new creative chapter is an album. "As an 18-year-old making not-quite-dance-floor electronic music, the name Deadbeat was an appropriately precocious turn of phrase," he said. "For a 45-year-old father of two, maybe not so much."
