This Saturday, Danny Rampling dusts off his vinyl and headphones for Ministry of Sound's 15th birthday party. RA has four tickets to give away to one lucky reader...
One of London's most famous clubbing institutions Ministry of Sound (MoS) celebrates a decade and a half in clubland this Saturday, September 9, 2006. To celebrate, MoS have invited back former resident Danny Rampling who once held down Friday nights with Paul Oakenfold and Norman Jay. Rampling will spin a retrospective set of house classics and MoS anthems. It will be his first proper DJ gig in nine months after he bowed out from the DJ circuit last December to try his hand at running a restaurant.
Rampling will be joined by Swedish house don Steve Angello, CJ Mackintosh and Mark Knight in the Box. Elsewhere Justin Berkman and Marc Hughes will spin in the Bar with Jazzy M, the first DJ to spin at MoS.
Too young to remember how it all began? Check out the MoS website which has interviews with fifteen DJs including Sasha, Josh Wink, Richie Hawtin, Underworld, Joey Negro and Sander Kleinenberg who share their best memories of the London club.
Want to know if Rampling still has what it takes to rock the Box? RA has four tickets to the MoS 15th birthday this Saturday, September 9th.
