Heidi is one of the newest artists signed to Berlin electrohouse output Get Physical, home to Booka Shade, M.A.N.D.Y and DJ T. Originally from Canada, Heidi is now resident in London, from where she's been taking on European clubs and plotting her ascent (and why does she have so many good records? She also works at Soho record store Phonica).
On her debut mix CD 'Monza Club Ibiza Compilation Vol. 1', Heidi's mixes up the old with the new, catching the sound of Frankfurt-in-Ibiza club Monza. The compilation bundles big summer hits by Marc Houle ('Bay of Figs'), Tobias ('Street Knoweldge') and Martin Landsky ('1000 Miles') with classics such as Carl Craig’s mix of Maurizio’s 'Domina' and deep house from Dennis Ferrer and Darkmountaingroup. Nice. The prize pack also includes Heidi's first ever 12" 'Vejer', made with soulmate-labelmate Riton.
