Global Underground and Dutch progressive duo Pako & Frederik team up for a second longplayer, The Alert, due out this week.
Pako & Frederik, aka Sekander Raisani and Frederik Borgesius, have a long history together with GU. The Newcastle label’s early 12" offshoot Coded was one of the first to pick up on the pair's releases, including their classic prog single 'Beatus Possessor', while GU later put out the pair's first ever longplayer Atlantic Breakers.
Follow up 'The Alert' arrives four years later and promises more of the same widescreen progressive and downtempo electronica. The eleven-tracker includes cuts culled from recent volumes in GU's Electric Calm and Synchronised series' as well as newer material.
