Newworldaquarium's rated longplayer The Dead Bears arrives on CD this February.
Newworldaquarium, aka Jochem Peteri, released the album on Dutch stable Delsin as a 2x12” vinyl in November, quickly earning himself kudos from those-in-the-know behind record shop counters as well as the likes of Efdemin, Josh Wink and Brendon Moeller.
The eleven tracker of downtempo grooves, dub techno and deep spacey house is being re-issued in 4.8 inch format together with four extra tracks including 'Trespassers' and 'NY', originally released on Planet E in 2002.
Peteri on the album: "The groove simply dissolves in a more beautiful way when it's a bit slower. My music is stuck halfway between hip hop and house, or kinda like a home baked savoury pie and fine sushi, in a way. It's too hard to choose between them I guess."
