- Iceland Airwaves, the island country's most popular music festival, has announced its initial lineup for its tenth edition. The indie music-heavy festival always throws a bone or two towards the dance music community and this year is no exception. The heavenly bleep electro of Simian Mobile Disco, Aussie survivors Pnau and synth-poppers Junior Boys will feature among a number of buzz bands from around the world. With the promise of even more clubs opening for the festival in light of its tenth anniversary, there should be no shortage of new sounds on tap. If you go, though, make a point to hit the Blue Lagoon. The famous outdoor spa will feature DJs during the course of the festival, allowing you to listen to a little bit of techno while you nurse that nagging hangover from the night before.
