- The Dutch-born producer will bring his twisted sensibilities to select cities in August.
Martijn Ten Velden kicks off his first North American tour later this week.
Ten Velden had his beginnings in the Dutch hip-hop scene in the early '90s, but soon made his way over to the UK and the sounds of house music. Since his mid-'90s transition, Ten Velden hooked up with David James to form Audio Drive. The duo quickly found success with pop-house remixes of Ms. Dynamite, The Sugababes, and Kylie Minogue. Lately, though, Ten Velden has been spending time with Mark Broom, leading to his mixing of the first disc of Toolroom Knights Vol. 1 last year.
Ten Velden will bring his eclectic house tastes to a number of North American cities over the course of the next two weeks, but like most tours of North America, he'll be sticking mostly to the coasts with stops also scheduled for Colorado, Nevada, and Toronto. Sorry Nebraska. Maybe next time?
