- If you're not a member already, then you'll need to become one to register your vote in this year's RA Poll.
In previous years, the results of our top DJ poll have been decided by our contributors' selections, but this year for the first time we're opening up the voting to RA members.
Yes, you read that right - you guys are calling the shots this year. The important thing to remember is that to be able to vote, you must be registered as an RA member. If you're not already a member, you can sign up before 9pm GMT on 18 November to be able to have your say. New members registered after this time will not be eligible to vote.
Why are we limiting registrations to before the poll opens? We all know that the integrity of online polls is difficult to maintain. The issues of multiple registrations, fake email accounts, IP-switch-voting and countless other forms of cheating are of fundamental concern. We're hoping that our method will ensure a better chance of keeping the poll honest, spam free and most importantly in the hands of you - the long standing readers of RA.
So, to reiterate: if you're not registered on RA by 9pm (GMT) on Tuesday evening, you will not be able to vote.
