Producer and Label co-founder Karl Roman started playing instruments at an early age focusing on blues and jazz. In recent years his interest in synthesized music has grown into a passion. Enjoying the vast possibilities for expressing abstract ideas, he constantly refined the scope of his projects, portraying a conceptual yet playful approach.
Karl decided it was time, and the next logical step was to start a label. He confirmed this with his long time musical companion, Erik Detzner, the other co-founder of the label. They joined forces with the intention of offering a platform not only for themselves but also for projects from other artists who mesh within the concept of the Roman label.
