Sticky feat. Kele Le Roc

  • Representing once again for the UK Garage massive is Sticky and this time he's brought along a partnet in tow - Kele le Roc, the girl who made Basement Jaxx's Romeo a smash hit, thanks to her sweet, sexy vocals. Side A. Things We Do is a direct 2003 interpolation of Sticky's 2001 smash, Triplets. It's a 4/4 time signature tune with a triplets melody on top. According to Social Circles, Triplets is their top selling tune so Sticky seems to have gone for a "If it ain't broke don't fix it approach". Kele fills in the gaps with her vocals and it sounds pretty sweet, in a Mis-teeq, De Nada kind of way. Side B. Blim As found on most social circles releases, the flip side is usually an experimental, instrumental 2-step/breakstep tune and Blim is no exception. Not too sure if this is a homage to TCR's own BLIM but it's forward thinking 2-step with a heavily syncopated beat and melodic bassline. I don't know if this will work too well on the dancefloor though, but we may be out of touch with UK dancefloors.
