Alternative Route display their diverse nature by travelling down tribal lane with this release by Hardline entitled Jadore.
First up is the Peter Bailey Mix. Those who are aware of Peter Bailey will know what to expect. Deep and dark grooves are the name of the game with eerie sounds playing a major role. A synth line helps keep the groove flowing in this track that is suited to the dark aura of a club.
On the b-side is the Macalouso Mix. This mix is the more tribal orientated of the two. Maintaining a similar flow throughout, the track has a clear focus on the drum pattern while a deep subtle baseline rings underneath. Nothing too inspiring, but for those heavily into their tribal beats, this may appeal in some way.
Not an amazing release by any stretch of the imagination, but it does display the ability of Alternative route to showcase many different sounds on their label.
