- 'I Love You My Friends' - sounds like a drunken slur at the end of a large night,but for Gothenburg's Hird (aka Christoffer Berg), it's a fragile ode to people he misses. Sweet, and the cool keyboard allied to a warm bass makes for a deep, deep house track, with a tasteful Rhodes solo towards the end.
Part two of this four track EP, 'The Shore Of My Coast', is a slower jam that could have made more of the opening groove, whilst 'Burn' is very easy going with its resonant hip-hop beat. Finally the 'Fading Blues', featuring the gorgeous tones of an unnamed female vocalist, is a nocturnal delight with its softly pulsing bass.
