The Masiello, Blades & Page Remix is probably the toughest of the lot, with some very well produced drums beginning the track shortly before a deep grinding baseline builds its way into the track. The remix maintains a really good deep flow throughout, with some quirky drum beats, and most of all, some great atmospheric effects and sound scapes. A quality reworking, but what else would you expect when you join three highly talented producers together and ask them to rework a classic.
The Sapphirecut Remix on the flip puts a nice touch on the original by changing the pace quite a bit and trying something nicely different. There is quite a nice Latin feel in this track, with some soothing guitar riffs and rattling hats, while the vocal takes more of a front seat in this reworking. Some melodic trickles run through the track for the most part giving this a great summer feel, while the baseline gives it a nice and quite subtle groove.
A quality set of remixes here complimenting the must own first disc of this release.
