Locodice – Cellar Door

  • Returning on the impressive Four Twenty Records is Locodice, who had impressive outings on the label last year with ‘City Lights’ and ‘Phat Dope Shit’. This time they return with a cheeky one sided release in Cellar Door. Already seeing support from the likes of James Zabiela, Carl Cox, Timo Maas and Ricardo Villalobos just to name a few, this track has potential to be a very big release for the label. Cellar Door begins quite minimal enough with quirky bleep and effects slowly introducing a slow groove beat. The main electro baseline riff soon enters the track, and from there on, it is quite clear to see the appeal of this productions. The track has a great funky flow to it, and the main electro baseline riff is purely addictive as it twists and turns throughout the production. A definite club track, this production has a real dancefloor groove to it. Another great production from Locodice, and it will be very interesting to see if this quality track has plans to be reworked.
