- What a mouth watering concept having the Turkish wizard Yunus team up with the very much in form Subsky. Well it has happened on Red Flag Collective and the results are two very solid productions that are sure to get good airplay globally. Already seeing big support from the big names, it is clear to see why this release might appeal to so many.
First up on the a-side is Erotic Sumo. Building with solid crisp drum patterns, the track gets going pretty much from the outset with a fantastic culmination of good drums, a smooth hidden baseline and nice melodic effects. There are constant breaks in the arrangement that never really stop the good groove that this track maintains. As the track runs the atmospheric sounds and melodic undertones gradually increase creating a sizzling second half to the production.
Air Fuzz on the flip is just as impressive. Using a broken beat drum pattern the track maintains the beautiful melodic aspects that both these producers insist on. Flowing nicely for the first few minutes, the track intensifies and grows in stature with a deep driving baseline that comes midway in and unites perfectly with the melodic tones and patterns that form throughout. Another quality production to compliment the more driving a-side.
What can be said apart from the fact that the expectations formed from these two quality producers combing has well and truly been met. Two nice summer anthems for those who are lucky enough to hear these tracks in hot sunny conditions.
