- After Rue’s massive House anthem, Groovedigital return to action with another storming house track in Overcome by Aranjah. Rue also return with a remix on the flip, but is this release as strong as the last outing which saw big support from John Digweed in particular.
The Original Mix is first up and it has that slight disco house vibe that the label is making a name for. Sampling the great Martin Luther, this track really makes good use of the sample and puts a great storming vibe to action. Solid beats, smooth atmosphere, chunky baselines all unite to make this yet another great summer anthem for the label.
Rue work their magic yet again on the flip with their Discofied Dub with a old school garage baseline that works well with some nice elements taken from the original mix. Not too sure on the stabbing screech (you’ll know the sound) but on the whole the baseline makes this remix what it is and I’m and dead certain this will tear many a house club apart.
The Aranjahapella relives Martin’s finer moments with a nice ‘Overcome’ accapella.
Another strong release for Groovedigital, and another summer anthem created by the Original mix and by the solid Rue baselines on the flip.
