- Vocal Records was founded in January 2003 and is a joint venture with the Xlantic Music Group. Vocal’s debut release was a huge success and made them a common name across the European dance scene. The Miami Collective consists of two producers, Brian Allen and Vezio Bacci.
The song “Never Gonna Give You Up” features the delightful vocals of Angie Brown. There a 3 different mixes on show, the Studio 54 Classic Mix, the Supraphonic Electro Remix, and the Miami Dub. The classic mix is essentially the main vocal mix, if you don’t like your vocals head straight for the filtered disco-tinged dub cut. My favourite mix has to the Supraphonic Electro Remix, it incorporates the funk and the vocal elements of the other mixes but adds tougher electro synths and pads that makes it sound a lot more fresh and current.
