- The latest offering from Hardcore Beats is the first for the label from Funkatech records' DJ Mutiny. Fresh from releasing a 12" on Suercharged, Daily Operation/No Compromise sees Mutiny collaborating with the likes of Australia's Shopliftas and fellow Funkatech producer L-Jay.

The crew responsible for the legendary Nutshell Breaks nights in Newcastle - The Shopliftas - recently teamed up with Mutiny during his last visit to Australia and together they came up with this uptempo didgeridoo-led affair (a traditional dancing instrument used in corroborees!) featuring a wicked didgeridoo sampled riff in the introduction. Clean rolling breaks with sharp snares drums take control of the beats, while Mutiny and crew give the didge-led bass line their own twist, passing it through filters and giving it some squelchy acid flavours and bass growls.

No Compromise features a twisted and highly mutated melodic bassline that goes through various phases, hitting triplet stabs on the way. It's the soundtrack to a dark sci-fi movie as it features techy elements, moody synth hooks and robotic vocal samples - "No compromise!". The track has a slight rave feel to it paying homage to the oldskool/hardcore styles with an outlook to the future in mind.
