The first track Jamaican Alien 2002 takes simple fragments of electronic funk and meshes them with cosmic Carribean beats, finally fusing it all together with cool Jamaican vocals. The spiralling beats and winding breaks produce a "time tunnel effect" ready to transpose any would-be raver to the break beat dance floor.
Mono2Stereo
The undertone of dubby, ethnic sounds exposes a fresh yet darker side to this release, spilling into experimental break beats while introducing an interesting dubbed up jungle feel.
Slink
This high tech yoghurt pot takes its influence from the UK garage "culture". The raw bass defines the track’s progression as the elctro funk yo-yos its way between the spacey organ sample.
Overall a bold experiment with ‘refreshing’ results.
