Vancouver based musician/producer/DJ Sean Dimitrie takes live jazz elements from his band’s original piece and re-works them into this splendid summery house composition. Lively percussion compliment a laidback trombone and warm strings tickle the hairs on the back of your neck. The first of two remixes is Chi’town’s reflection from Johnny Fiasco, which utilises all the musical elements to give a contemplative feel. Finally Croydon’s Rob Pearson techs things up with a rumbling sub-bass underpinning the uplifting plucked guitars. 4/5
