First up is Blue Flag, and it is quite a nice upbeat techy number with smooth solid drum patterns and a nice analogue baseline as well as a pretty retro sounding string pattern. On the whole, the track has a distinct retro early 90’s feel to it, and it works quite well!
Phaze Up on the flip is another pretty gritty affair with some nice clattering drum patterns as well as a deep baseline and subtle acid hooks. The track becomes a little more upbeat with the inclusion of strings and some good general atmospheric effects as the production rolls on, not too mention the delicious breakdown deep into the production.
Another pretty good release from this always impressive label, and a release with a bit of a nice uplifting edge.
