- Refune have been on a bit of a roll lately delivering some absolute peak time madness in their releases, and this time they call on the services of Naughty Queen to do the same with Famous & Rich.
First up is the Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso Remix, and I must say yet again, these boys deliver the goods. Decidedly gritty with the driving baselines and the cheeky subtle synth patterns, this track is again another driving anthem from the duo. The vocal sample is not too special, but the solid production of the track makes it almost non-existent.
The Original is quite bouncy and much more laid back then the Remix the proceeded it. It’s punkish and quite abstract and unique, and for that it must be admired. Is it useful though is another story.
On the b-side is Tony Senghore’s Starstruck Bitch Mix. A very interesting remix in a good way. It’s quite bouncy and techy at first, and then all of a sudden it unleashes a pretty strong baseline that steps up the pace a notch or two. The track builds nicely and takes off late on with a series of strong synths and roaring vocal samples.
Another pretty nice release here from Refune with both remixes doing the goods more so then the original.
