- The 2nd release on Oh! Records comes from MRZ & mk888. They unleash a couple of mixes of Probing Outer Worlds, a release that probes the areas of breaks and electro.
The Electro Mix is quite lively, with pulsating electro riffs throughout the mix giving the track quite an energetic flow. The beats are also lively, bouncing throughout the track giving it a smooth breakbeat feel.
The Sedna Mix again flows quite nicely, and has a slightly more upbeat beat structure. Despite this, the mix feels a little more subdued then the electro mix, and hardly full as much life that the a-side had.
The Apollo 11 Remix for me is a little too messy, and it struggles to find a good solid groove, despite the fact it has a pretty strong baseline throughout.
Not a bad release here but it certainly lacks a killer mix, and instead has 3 above average tracks.
