- Kazell (Aka Kev Bazell) is someone from over here who is doing remarkably well over there! Despite being from Manchester he is one of the big names in the U.S scene and has played every major venue in the country. Here he launches his new label Influx-audio with a production by himself and long term production partner Mike Hiratzka and Prime is the name of the beast.
First up is the Original Mix and Mike and Kev have given us a deep dark groover thats loaded with atmosphere. Building up the drums steadily before introducing an absolute beast of a bassline which will tear a hole in the dancefloor, a definite floor filler.
On the flip is a Quivver Remix and though im a big fan of Quivvers productions i have to say this is not one of his best. Its a breaks track but is very stop start and though he has added some of his unique production touches and some typical Quivver sounds it doesnt quite hit the spot for me, in fact if i think the original mix sounds more like Quivver than Quivvers mix!
Overall this a very strong start from a label which looks like its going to around for sometime and this particular releases showcases just how talented Mike Hiratzka and Kazell trully are.
