First, Remute (occasionally of the Areal label) offers up a remix of Die Trottellummen Von Helgoland full of harsh digital cut-ups and tight edits. The track spends quite a few minutes noodling its way through a number of disconnected grating digital sounds before it finally finds a groove but, at this stage, it’s most likely turned away all but the most adventurous of listeners.
Hrdvsion (and no, that’s not a typo) continues the digital cut-ups on his remix of Das Röhren Der Rotwildbrunft. Hrdvsion retains the melody of Eulberg’s original, but undercuts it with stuttering bleeps, whirls, and buzzes. Under the weight of all the stuttering stops and starts, the track never really gets anywhere, and the digital sound may (yet again) very well put off many listeners.
Finally, Dominik Eulberg’s Traum labelmate Adam Kroll rounds things off with a remix of Keine Nieten Bei Den Herbstzeitlosen. The track brings us back to familiar minimal territory, with a nice bouncing bassline that quickly picks you up and carries you along but sadly, not anywhere of note. Bouncing along for a full eight minutes without reaching any peaks, it's only when it ends that you suddenly realize you haven’t moved at all, but have merely been running on the spot.
