- Once again Nazar blesses on a Bandcamp Friday, this time with a four-track EP featuring Virgli Abloh on the cover. 4 Tunes is among the Angolan producer's hardest, densest work, ending on a high note with the Shapednoise collaboration "Prototype," which sounds like a broken turbine spinning on its last legs—in the best way possible. The beat is staggered and broken, attacked by all angles from metallic rumbling sounds and heavily processed thuds, like listening to three different tracks play out at once. Hectic, impressive and tonnes-heavy, it's the sound of chaos and anxiety bottled and then distilled down to a near-perfect four minute workout.
