- This is a sampler comprising of two of the raw tracks used in the making of Dj19 and Thomas Pentons Into the battle round compilation from 19box's offshoot label - Limited.
The first track is Voodoo magic from Thomas Penton.The Floridian churns out another classic T.P sound as from the start we're treated to his inimitable style of chunked-up beats and tight,rolling percussion that gather momentum with rumbling bassline,airy fx and throbbing synth bursts.Thrown into the mix is a whispering vocal sample,looping underneath along with another more pronounced,culminating in a stripped back breakdown and layering back up with a drum roll and hands in the air reward.
Next up is Trancentral station - IC the Mothership.This gem of a 19box release gets a makeover from Dj19 who keeps to much of the originals formula of pounding beats and heavy synths but adds a twist with headmelting ableton-esque breakdown,although could have gone a lot further with it.
