Enzo Siragusa - Searching (UK Dub) feat. Laville

  • An old-school garage rework—think Armand Van Helden—with impeccable bass work.

  • The original "Searching," Enzo Siragusa's debut for Aus Music, is a bouncy house track that connects eras of house, from its Kerri Chandler-style shuffle to the wiggly bassline and vocal hooks that look back to the height of deep tech. It's catchy and classy, just melancholy enough to add that little bittersweet surge that British house music is so good at. But on the flip, it's the "UK Dub" that really commands attention. The tunneling bassline and swung snares immediately to mind another classic era: Armand Van Helden's imperial '90s run—think his remix of "Spin Spin Sugar." It's impeccably produced, stretching out the vocals into early drum & bass-style digital taffy and featuring a killer jungle breakdown, presenting an altogether darker tint for what was once an uplifting house number, and a little speedrun through UK dance music history to boot.
