Hawaii - Pure

  • Following up Pj Davy's Henry's tune,Uk label twisted frequency are back with another fresh slice of music this time round its a double hit with Hawaii - Pure. The first cut is a Jamie Mc Hugh remix taking off from the beginning with a heavy dose of delayed vocals and fx sounds along with subtle distorting percussive sounds, gathering pace nicely before the beat drops out and bassline kicks in,once again the affirmative vocal grabbing our attention. There's a steady build throughout with zippy synthline and stabbing sounds working their way about each other, dragging the mood deeper and just that little bit darker. Next up is the Janicki remix, creating a tribal affair with full use of the extended vocal while underneath murmurs a weighty dose of throbbing percussion, gathering momentum with the addition of the beckoning synth cuts to enforce the rolling groove. If that's not enough there's an acapella thrown into the package for our enjoyment.
