- The latest from Wireframe records comes courtesy of 2 new players in the breaks scene, Bill Vega and New Decade, and they’ve done a good job with this one and it’s sure to go down well with the tech breaks fans out there.
Side A. Mind Beats
The breaks at the beginning are very reminiscent of rave anthems from the early 90’s and a lot of breaks producers are really going for that sound lately. This one is no different and comes with that female vocal that you attribute to a lot of rave anthems. Never fear though, it still maintains some good old 2002 attitude and sits well with the TCR breaks sound – dark, hard and techy.
Side B. Dynamics
This actually sounds better than the A-side. On a West Coast breaks tip, Dynamics is a tech infused breaks track that can certainly rock any dancefloor. There are some tunes out there that sound good when the beats are taken away to leave just the bass line to handle things and this is one of them.
