- Mark Dearden (Tribal Tech) received great feedback about his first release on Black & White records, so I was eager to put the needle on his next installment, ‘Funkin Hell’.
Original: The aptly titled ‘Funkin Hell’, carries a tribal funk element throughout the tune. This tribal, funky bassline is a nice groove, but the record lacks substance. A lack of sounds, leads the quality bassline to become slightly monotonous.
Dub: The tribal Funk bassline returns, but once again the lack of levels to the record disappoints. Certainly a filler tune, but I’d leave it of the box.
