  • Under great expectations, costarican DJ promoter Promotion released another of it´s world class events. For those who thought castarican parties are always the same , this time these guys did it really high-leveled. With a 1100 persons assistance (quite a bunch for Bash Club, San José, costarican number 1 promoter celebrated it´s second anniversary. AND THEY JUST MEANT IT!!! Venue: Club Bash, San José, Costa Rica Date-Time: 13.09.02 8pm - 8am Cover: 4000 presale, 6000 in event Line Up: Erik Prestinari (Costa Rica) Xavier De Cock (Belgium) Andrés Carranza (Costa Rica) Christopher Lawrence (Presenting his new record: "Around The World") Dr Leo (Costa Rica) Prestinari: Two thumbs up. Although an imprevue performance, he started with a little minimal deep Progressive, shifting to some tech tunes. Well done, Erik De Cock: Even though I´ve heard some better sets from him, this guy with his music made us remember he´s Progressive house Nr. 1 DJ around. Always keeping us in moody Progressive house, I was very pleased of listening to him. Carranza: Awesome!!! He started bout 11, he made a set which left me pretty impressed. He played some prog-trance tunes from out of this world. This local DJ travels a lot throughout American an European clubs in search of new music and he just gave us a surprise, he injected us with heat and energy to warm us up for what was coming. Excelent set, I must say. Lawrence: No need for words. Chris took control of the turntables at about 2:30 am and he took things VERY SERIOUS. He alterned Progressive House and Progressive trance ( Manhattan-Spectrum) to fall into tech trance. People The crowd couldn’t stop dancing, it was simply impossible. The energy and vibes Lawrence projected were absolutely out of this world. He also played some of the titles from his brand new set, which will be available in November. Right after a little accident, everything went back to normal bout 4am and hold on... Laurence pushed some Trance-Hard Trance-Progressive Trance which he mixed like a complete master. Such good vibes everywhere made me think I was in HEAVEN. What a genius !!! Dr Leo: Death-riser. Promotion resident started about 5am with his tech-house turning to techno. Accelerated as usual, Leo finished the little energies Lawrence had left upon us This guy has that one gift of keeping us awake in the after hours. At 6am, people started to leave the dance floor to have a seat. Leo turned off the turntables and everyone started to wonder. Leo refused to play to some elder people so he’d stop if there was no one in the dance floor. The result? Everybody dancing and Dr Leo got away with it. I left about 8 am in a beautiful Sunday morning, wondering about the event that I´d just passed by. An unforgettable party by Promotion.
