Accadia - Blind Visions

  • Accadia are back, keen to follow up on the success they had with ‘Into the Dawn’. This time they are seeking further success with ‘Blind Visions’, a release that uses the vocals of Stacy Charles and Marcella Woods. Disc One Yahel provides a full on trance remix on the A side to disc one. From the outset the pace flows, with good use of the vocal and baseline changes. After the breakdown midway in to the track the record moves into overdrive with trancey riffs with a European influence. On the flip Pitch & Sulfer provide a mix with a German flavour. A very strong remix this is, with an electro techno like influence. This combined with the hypnotic melodies that enter half way into the track and lush vocals and you have a winner combination with this remix. Disc Two The Accadia club mix occupies side A of disc two, and is as the name suggests, a club friendly record. Not using as much of the vocals as other remixes, but making up for this with a BIG use of strings, and solid baselines. Think Ferry Corsten and this is what you have with this club mix, peak time madness! On the B side is the Harry Peat mix, the more downtempo of all the mixes. Good use of drum patterns and subtle melodies. Breaky in parts, this mix should have a wide appeal. A good release for Accadia, look out for the interesting Peat and Pitch & Sulfer mixes and prepare yourself for the furious Yahel and Club mix.
