- This UK Top 5 hit is about to be released by Dutch group Hermes House Band. It is a remake of John Denvers hit Country Roads.
With such well known remakes of Gloria Gaynor's "I will survive" another cover was definitely on the cards for this group. And upon hearing this tune i would hate to hear what they did to that disco classic.
This remake is a disgrace, how they even were signed by a record label is beyond me. I have never heard such clap trap that has tried to pass off as music in all of my life. John Denver would cringe at the sound of this and i for one am gagging.
And all those pommie lager swilling singalong junkies who made this track UK top 5 should take a good long look in the mirror.
Anyway thats enough from me. I hope this review encourages labels think twice before subjecting our ears to garbage.
