A1 – In Stereo: This is the first of the four tracks on this double vinyl pack that has been a great building break beat tune to really get a night started. The electric ‘Stereo Sound’ distorted vocal sample works very well.
B1 – Mantra: Beginning with a much more ambient feel is Matra on the flip of disc 1. It works in a few different ways with its various snare kicks and background vocal bits and pieces. It’s a great end of set, wind the crowd down type of tune.
C1 - Squeaks and Bleeps: Squeaks and Bleeps starts off the second vinyl and is a nice break beat number that (as the title describes) is full of crazy squeaky bleepy sounds. It slowly builds to a big plump breakdown before continuing on its crazy journey outwards.
D1 - Nylon Radar: Finishing off this vinyl pack is that of Nylon. This amazing building track is a total work of break beat genius. It’s draws you in with its catchy light beats before it winds up with its smashing bass line and really hits you with everything. This track has forced many dance floors to their knees after being thrown into frenzy as this track shows its full face. It has been applied to the crowds at Fabric in London week after week with constant success and is an absolute masterpiece from the Plump boys!
As you can imagine these tracks are all being hammered around the globe and are already firmly planted in the record crates of the Plump’s Fabric friends and residents Krafty Kuts, Tayo and the Stanton Warriors. This limited edition double pack goes on sale on March 17 and is definitely one for all you break beat purveyors to get your hands on!!!
