- The Surgery are a group of ragga MC's and represent for the 2-step scene with a tune dedicated to the ganja mon! On the flip side, Fyrus rinses out the beats and bass with an instrumental track for the darker break-step crew.
Side A. The Surgery - More Weed
As with a lot of ragga MC's, The Surgery really get frantic on the mic, spitting out ragga rhymes quicker than you can say "She sells sea shells by the sea shore" three times fast. It's not hard to tell what they are rapping about as one MC just repeats "More Weed!" during the chorus. Furious rhymes coupled with Sticky's production, which uses a similar drum and bass pattern to Booo! should get the crowd on the floor shaking their booties... if not they'd probably just pull out a J and smoke it!
Side B. Fyrus - Wheeze
As with some other Social Circles releases, the flip side contains an instrumental which does not have any relation with the first side. Fyrus' Wheeze is a break-step number featuring a long, continuous and wah-wah'ed bassline as if it came out of a 70's cop show along with some 2-steppy beats and a couple of vocal stabs. Might possibly work well with fans of the harder sounds of 2-step.
